GeneralThe satisfying steampunk form of the Beetronics Swarm fuzz harmonizer is home to a lush mash-up of fuzz and pitch shifting. Nine harmonic intervals are provided to sculpt a mass of fuzz and modulation variations, so you can shape a pleasant harmonic drone, or an angry, buzzing, and growling fuzz. The sheer scale of unique experimental potential offered by the Swarm is frankly jaw-dropping.

The Beetronics Swarm: Sting Like a Bee

While the overall aesthetic and layout of the Swarm matches the unique sound it’s capable of creating, some of the on-theme names of the controls might need a little explaining. The Worker (bee) pot takes care of the fuzz amount; the Species pot toggles through the harmonic interval, while the Queen and Drone pots dial in the volume of the octaves. Two further pots control the modulation intensity, so you can adjust the Sting pot to change the speed and Flight pot to change the response. Simple.
