Carefully slap it into your pedalboard to open up a huge can of fresh sounds, or use the GT-1000CORE as an all-in-one rig for shows or rehearsals. In fact, you can even use it to record audio, and Boss even throw in a power supply.

AIRD Technology: Authentic Playing Experience

Just like its bigger brother, the GT-1000CORE comes outfitted with AIRD technology (Augmented Impulse Response Dynamics), which means you can expect authentic amp tone with maximally present dynamics. In addition, you’re free to use up to 24 effects at the same time with different series/parallel routing options. The algorithms have been taken straight from praised and popular Boss classics and the 500 Series multi-effects and, thanks to a special bass guitar mode, bass players too get to enjoy the high performance the GT-1000CORE brings to the table – or pedalboard in this case.

Connections

Boss have equipped with the guitar effects processor with two FX loops and multiple footswitch and expression pedals inputs. This means you can get full control over the signal path using the popular 4-cable method, while the gigantic computing power of the DSP paves the way for a dual-amp set-up using the 7-cable method with a separate signal chain for each amp. Switching between channels can be automated via the CTL out or MIDI.
