GeneralThe design of the Texan FT-79 has been drawn up by Epiphone itself. This electro-acoustic dreadnought is essentially a more affordable version of one of Paul McCartney’s and Peter Frampton’s favourite acoustics. Since it’s part of the Masterbilt Series, you can count on an instrument that offers a lifetime of playing joy. The solid spruce top gives the guitar a rich, sparkling acoustic sound while the bone string nut helps to take care of natural vibration transference. A Fishman Sonitone Onboard Preamp system has been installed to accommodate amplified sound and the 1960s SlimTaper C-profile neck gives the FT-79 its superb feel and playability. Epiphone have finished the whole thing with a Sloped Dovetail headstock and parallelogram inlays.
