This model, the Q54, is a comfortable and compact solid body guitar that will end your quest in search of a new music-making side-kick if manageability and playing ease is what you’re after. Not only that, it comes complete with a gig bag.

The Q54: Stable Core & Stunning Slices of Wood

The 3-piece neck of the Q54 is made of a mix of roasted maple and bubinga, rendering it stable while lending the guitar enhanced overall aesthetics. Similarly, the fretboard is just as stylish and has been carved out of roasted birdseye maple before being lined with 24 Jescar EVO Gold frets for the optimum comfort. Ibanez have clearly spent a ton of love and attention into designing the Q54, and opted for a neutral Wizard C-profile for that immediately trusty feel.

Versatile Sound

We’ve certainly saved the best for last here, since the nyatoh body comes equipped with an HSS pickup configuration including a Q58 bridge humbucker and two R1 single-coils. Specially made for headless guitars, these passive pickups offer beautifully balanced sound with ample room for both basses and trebles to shine and, thanks to the dyna-MIX9 system and special Alter Switch, shape no less than nine different foundation sounds. A custom string lock and Mono-Tune bridge complete the Ibanez Q54-BKF, which can by the way be fitted with standard electric guitar strings when it’s time to replace the old ones.
