Description

GeneralJosh Scott has taken his own Onomatopoeia MK3 version of the iconic Sola Sounda Tonebender from 1973 as the foundation for this particular member of the Legends of Fuzz Series. The JHS Bender delivers a reworked, ’60s flavoured fuzz driven by the stability of more modern silicon transistors. Tweak the Attack to raise or reduce the distortion level, then enhance the light or dark with the Tone pot , then bring it all to a ground-shaking level with the Volume control, while a satisfying little red Mode button on the side can be pushed to activate a mid-range gain boost for a more brutal edge. Guitarists that regularly drool over the sound of Mick Ronson (David Bowie), Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, or Jeff Beck will get everything they ever wanted in this stompbox. Even fans of the later Beatles sound will hear echoes of George Harrison and John Lennon in the authentic tone of the JHS Bender 1973 London.
