GeneralA number of exclusive Yamaha features have be carefully put together to create the LJ6 ARE. The refined finish of the jumbo LJ-body of this electro acoustic has an incredibly friendly playing feel and, what it might lack in volume when compared to an LL-model, it makes up for in dynamic range, a solid low-end and beautifully transparent high-end. The five-piece mahogany and rosewood neck not only offers a generous level of comfort and grip, but due to the seamless body and neck construction, is incredibly stable.

The Yamaha LJ6 ARE

The LJ6 ARE has a solid Engelmann spruce top for unrivalled resonance supported by modified bracing for an extra layer of bass with no compromise made on the sparkle offered by the L-Series models. Completed by rosewood back and sides, the LJ6 is a distinctly open and present sounding instrument faithfully amplified by the integrated SRT Zero Impact contact pickup. The low-profile design of this system is discreetly fitted to the top without any cuts being made in the wood, maintaining pure tonal integrity.

Acoustic Resonance Enhancement

The Engelmann spruce top has also undergone a very special Acoustic Resonance Enhancement treatment that actually tunes the molecular structure of the wood. Temperature, atmospheric pressure and humidity are closely monitored throughout the process and the result is astonishing since it imbues the wood with the characteristics of a played-in top that’s already lived through a decade or more. This stunning guitar comes complete with a gig bag.
